Valentine to MOM

Today I thought I would try out even another part of a new stamp set which I know I am going to love, Messages for Mom.  But, don't I love them all.lol  This is so bad, but my Mom's birthday is Dec. 28th and with all the hustle and bustle, I did not make her a birthday card, so I thought I would make her a valentine card.  I may just send it to her now because I did not actually say Happy Valentines on itl.

I have not used this part of the stamp set yet, but when I saw the card sketch from Stamping 411, I knew I would use the MOM and cut it out to make the card.  I also used another stamp set "Love you Much" to stamp the hearts and then I punched them out with the "heart to heart" punch.  I love punches and if you look at my posts you will see most all of  my work consist of using punches.  Just seems to simplify a little bit.  And, if you are as busy as I am, you need all the simplicity you can get.  I also used the Shimmer paint again, Champagne Mist on this one, and you will be glad to know that we will be able to order all three shimmer paints during this new mini catalog.  They are not in the catalog, but there was such a cry for them that they decided to continue.  Also from the new mini, I used the satin ribbon "Chocolate Chip".  That Satin Ribbon is going to be a favorite.  The DSP on the front and inside of the card is from the new "Sweet Pea" Designer Series Paper Stack.

See below for the inside of the card and the phrases also comes from the set Messages from MOM.  Thanks for looking.

What a great idea! I think a lot of people are at a loss for what to do with those big MOM letters! You showed us a way! Great job on this week's Sketch challenge. Thanks so much for playing along with the Stamping 411 Operators! Blessings, Gretchen
