Scripture Challenge Word # 18

Hello everyone!  This is for Scripture Challenge #2, Challenge Word # 18, Compassion.  When I put the word compassion into Bible Gateway to search the scriptures almost all the scriptures talked about the compassion of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  He had so much compassion for the sick, for the hungry, for the burdened and I was thinking, just as Patter said in her post, we are to follow the example of Jesus and therefore we are to have compassion.  And then when I saw the verse in 1 Peter 3:8, I knew that was the verse to use.  "Finally all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers be tenderhearted, be courteous.  It tells us exactly the way we should be to be the example that exemplifies our Lord.  And I want to be that example having compassion for all.  After all my Savior had compassion on me and instead of giving me what I deserved, He showed me grace.  Hallelujah!!!

So this is the page I did for challenge word 18, compassion.  Please see Patter's post on compassion with a wonderful devotion, and she also has a link to all of the word challenges for the year.

My Digital Studio by Stampin' Up! was used to create this page.

Thanks for looking and hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
