Christian Paper Crafts Fun On Friday - Make a gift bag or Gift Box

Today's challenge at Christian paper crafts is to make a gift bag or a gift box. It could be for a birthday, get well, Christmas, whatever your hearts desire. The object is to have fun and the sky is the limit.

So let me share with you the gift bag I made for my sister for her gift for Christmas.  She is very talented musically and I thought this would be the perfect Christmas bag for her present.

I actually started off with a plain white bag and then using the small music notes wheel, I wheeled three separate lines across the bag.  I then used a piece of the Deck the Halls designer series paper from the Christmas Mini cut 2" X 8" and adhered to the bag above the music notes.  Then to make the reindeer heads, I used the following punches:  Extra Wide Oval for all three.  For Rudolph in the center, I used large oval for the open mouth effect.  His red nose and the black noses on the other two reindeer are punched from the itty bitty shapes punch pack (the circle).  For the teeth, I just cut two little strips of card stock and adhered.  The antlers on all three are from the Snowflake punch.  The eyes are from a 1/4" punch and the dots are from the Big Bold Cupcakes 4 pack dies.  The ears are from the five petal punch and the mane or hair on top of the head of the two on the side are punched with the wide oval and then using the round scallop punch.  The hooves are from the Word window punch and I punched two - on in black and one in the soft suede.  Cut each end off the black and adhered to the soft suede and then notched it with my scissors.  Using the stamp set Four the Season, I stamped the Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler at the bottom.  Hopefully this will inspire you to make that perfect bag or box for that perfect gift.  Here is a close up of the deer!

Thanks for looking and hope you have a wonderful Friday!
