Anything is Possible

This is a card I made to enter two challenges on CPCM.  One challenge was to case a person from the gallery and the other was to use a verse that talked about nothing is impossible with God.  So the verse is computer generated, but the rest of the items are from Stampin' Up!  All the DSP is from the Sweet Pea paper Stack, even the butterfly.  I just love this paper stack and may have to purchase another pack of it.  I am actually using it pretty quick.  The other papers used were Old Olive and Whisper White Card Stock.  The brads are the Square Ice Rhinestone brads.  Thanks for looking!

You're on my mind

I did this card for a challenge on our stampin connection called "Clean and Simple."  It could not be much simpler than this.  This stamp set upsy daisy is so easy, because all you do is ink and stamp and it is done.  With this one I inked the stamp in basic black ink and then stamped the image on the basic grey cardstock that had been cut out using the top note die cut.  I cleaned the stamp and then inked with the craft white ink and stamped over the black stamp.   Stamped the image You're on my mind in white, cut ribbon and attched.  I used the finial embossing folder by stampin up to get the embossed looked on the card base.  Attached the grey to the black, made the bow and attached with a pop dot and it is done.  Took maybe 10 minutes.  Love it!  Thanks for looking.

Punch Card Class

I am going to have a punch card class, which should go very quick, since there is not a lot of stamping.  This is the first card we will be doing.  As you can see it will be simple, but eloquent and we will be using the butterfly punch along with the "Whimsical Words" which is in the sale-a-bration book and is free with a $50 merchandise order with Stampin' Up!  By the way, any of the sayings can be changed on the cards to a Happy Birthday, Get Well, etc..  That is up to you.  The stamps will be available.  Next card see below.
This will be the second card and we will be using the 5 petal punch plus the leaves from the two-step bird punch and also the pinking hearts border punch.  This saying is also from "Whimsical Words."
I just love this card, #3, and actually cased it from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  It was just too cute not to use.  I did change the stamped image on the heart a little.  With this one we will be using the two step bird punch, the full heart punch, the modern punch, and the pinking hearts border punch.  The stamp on the heart is from the Tiny Tags set in the mini catalog and the saying is from the stamp set "Teeny Tiny Wishes."  Isn't this just a beautiful card?
This is the 4th and last card and just so bright and cheery to me. On this one we will use the scallop round
punch for the flowers, the five petal punch for the leaves, oval scallop punch, large scallop punch, and the scallop border punch. The butterflies are from an embosslits die called "beautiful wings" in the mini catalog and can only be purchased through Stampin' Up! The saying is from Teeny Tiny wishes. (See below for more details)

I will be letting you know when I will be doing this Punch Card Class Shortly, by adding to this post or by adding to another post.  The cost for the cards, envelopes and container for the cards will be $12.00.  That includes everything to make the cards.  Nothing has to be brought to the class with you.  Hopefully this weekend, I will ge the container for the cards ready and add to post.  If you are interested in this class, please let me know by e-mailing me.  My e-mail is on the side bar or it is grammytotwo@live.com.  Thanks so much for looking.

Well Scripted Workshop Last Night

Well my goodness this has been a long week.  My daughter's husband's grandfather passed away and I was helping them out with my granddaughter and other things along with church and a workshop, I just have not had time to post.  But, this morning I thought I would post the two projects for the workshop last night.  First we made this scrapbook page which I thought was just darling using some of the new items from the mini and also some old items in the big catalog.  It was very successful and everyone enjoyed the class.
Second project was this card.  Some of them used the Happy Birthday that I have on the one below and others used the "Wonderful Mother" that also comes in the same stamp set.  Of course it was thier first time using the clear stamps and they all love them.  The "Love you much" on the scrapbook page is also a part of this stamp set which is called "Well Scripted."  Just seems to add elegance to a card, page or whatever you are trying to create.  Of course with the clear, you can place it wherever you want it.  Thanks for looking and if you want additional information, please feel free to e-mail me.

I know this is one of the first stamp sets I bought with Stampin' Up! prior to becoming a demonstrator.  I think I actully bought it from a mini and then it was added to the catalog.  Anyway, I thought I would pull it out today when I saw the sketch for Stamping 411.  It just seem to call my name.  Ever have that happen.  I'm not sure I really like the way it turned out, but this is it.  I actually added a lot of bling, dazzling diamonds, to give it a little more umph!  I am going to send this to a friend that honestly makes it easy.  See image below of close up on butterflies and heart.

Beautiful Wings/Temptation

This is my scrapbook page for Scripture Challenge #2 over at Triple the Scraps.  I am so excited about doing this all year and having something to look back on.  It is very rewarding to look up the scriptures and decide which scripture I need to use.

As you can see by this one, I actually added a little journaling at the bottom because that is what I felt as I was deciding what to use for temptation.  I can never overcome by myself; I need the strength that only comes from God.

I just love the new Stampin' Up! Embosslits die "Beautiful Wings and I used that on this page along with the Designer Series Paper Stack "Sweet Pea".  This paper already had the butterflies on it, all I did was add a few more and a little pop to what was already there.  Both of these items are in the new mini catalog.  The punch I used at the bottom was the Scallop Trim Border and you can get this free with a $50 merchandise order if you order between now and the end of March.  How great is that.

Items used for this page are:

Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die - 118138 - $11.95
Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack - 117161 - $24.95
Whisper White Cardstock 8-1/2 X 11 - 106529 - $7.50
Rose Red Cardstock 12 X 12 - 107086 - $7.50

By purchasing all of this you would be able to get the Scallop Trim Border free - 118402

How great is that and it you have so much left over you can make many more projects.  Thanks for stopping by and below are pictures of the Butterflies up close.

Sweet Pea DSP/Thinking or You

This was such an easy card to make because it is mostly using the Sweet Pea DSP Stack in the mini.  The only stamping on it is the Thinking of You from the stamp set "Teeny Tiny Wishes" by Stampin' Up!  I also used the sketch from CPCM Tuesday sketch challenge.

I took sahara Sand cardstock, 8-1/2 X 11 and cut in half at the 5-1/2 mark and then scored at 4-1/4" mark.  It then attached a piece of old olive cardstock cut 4 X 5-1/4.  I then cut a the piece of DSP with the flowers on it up close to each of the two flowers to make it a little over 2" X 5" and cut the polka dot DSP at 2" x 5" also.  I then had a strip of so safron cardstock that was not quite an inch wide and cut it to 5" long then used the scallop trim border.  Adhered the scallop to the back of the DSP with the flowers.  Then attached both pieces to the old olive with the polka dot piece being first.  I then wraped a piece of ribbon around the DSP and Old Olive and then adhered that to the base.  I stamped the thinking of you on whisper white cardstock with classic old olive ink and then punched it out with the large oval.  Then punched out a piece of the so saffron cardstock with the scallop oval punch, attached them together and then to the card with some glue dots.  How easy is that.

Thanks for looking.

Garden From the Heart/Sweet Pea DSP

This was the sketch for MOJO monday this week and Mary Fitch designed the sketch and also used the same stamp set I did.  I cased her as far as the butterflies etc. because I really thought they added to hers.  You must go there and see her card which is much better than mine.  My husband said it looked like a fall card, so I guess I will have to wait until September to send this one out.

Happy B-day Simply Scrappin

This is the scrapbook I made for my granddaughter's birthday party.  I try to make one for every birthday and this is the one from her November Party.  I just love doing it and she loves looking at it.  I did this one from the Simply Scrappin Kit "Happy B-day."  It sure does make the book easier and quicker to do.  As you can see, I added some sparkle to it by just adding the iridescent ice.  I also used a little from "The Write Stuff Specialty" DSP package.  The front cover consists mostly of the Stampin' Up! Big Bold Cupcakes Sizzlits 4-pack dies.  I just love to use the die cuts.

This is what it looks like after it is done and you turn the pages!

Butterfly Card

I just love the stamp set "Flight of the Butterfly" and I was so excited to see that they finally came out with a butterfly punch that coordinates with it.  I decided to used it when I saw this color combination and this sketch on CPCM.  With this card, I actually stamped the butterfly on the white and then I ran the SU Close to Cocoa paper through the cuddlebug to give it the embossed looked and then I used the butterfly punch to punch it out.  I placed it over the original stamped image.  I used Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, and Winter white cardstock for the card.  Also used the pinking hearts border punch along with the corner punch to make the border.  Added Brads and Ribbon.  Thanks for looking.

Five Petal Punch

I just love this card and the Five Petal Punch. You can really do some great cards just by punching. I used the Tea Party DSP by Stampin Up, and the sale-a-bration stamp set, whimsical words which really adds elegance on its own. The leaves are from the extra large two step bird punch that is in the new mini. And, one more punch that I used from the new mini is the pinking hearts border punch. And, a retired punch that stamped the little flowers in the middle. Can you tell I love punches!

Cheep Talk

This was for the MOJO Monday sketch. Took me long enough, but this has been a transitional week for me. I am trying to prioritize a little better and to keep my focus going in the right direction. Have you ever had to do that? Any way with this sketch, I used the “Cheep Talk” by Stampin’ Up! and, I turned the sketch. I always like to go through my stamps to see which would actually work better with a certain sketch. And as I went through, this one stood out and I knew it was the one I needed to use. I also used the Designer series paper stack from the sale-a-bration catalog called “Welcome Neighbor”. Don’t you just love the clouds and this paper is free with a $50 merchandise order from Stampin’ Up!

Other items used were: Cardstock – Taken with Teal, Whisper White. Classic Ink – Always Artichoke, Taken with Teal. ¼” white grosgrain ribbon.

Thinking of You

This is for the Sweet Sunday Sketch.  I just love to use my punches and this seemed a great oppourtunity to use the five petal punch.  It makes a card so easy and quick also.  I also went back to the in-colors for this year.  For some reason I got away from them, but when I pulled out this DSP, I was ready to use it.  I also used the shimmer paint.  See closer view below for the shimmer effect, beautiful!

Stampin Up Items used:

Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzelberry, whisper white
DSP: Razzleberry Lemonade
Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ribbon: 1/2" polka dot grossgrain ribbon, rich razzleberry
Pearls from Prettiest Kit

Two Step Bird Punch

You can't help but love this little bird!  It is just too cute when put together regardless of how you do it.  This sketch is from the Card Patterns Sketch 46.  What a great sketch.  I really love this new Specialty Designer Series Paper Sending Love which is shimmery on one side.  The paper that is on the tag is the backside of the DSP on the left of this card.  It just kind of goes together and you don't even have to try and match it up.  How great is that and it saves time!  For the saying you could have used "Thinking of You" or anything else.  Does not necessarily need to be a Valentines Card.  Just what I wanted to use today.

Here is what I used making the card.

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Real Red, Pretty in Pink
DSP:  Sending Love Specialty
Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Brads:  Pretty in Pink Sending Love Epoxy Brads 1/2",  Real Red Sending Love Epoxy Brads 1/2"
Punch:  Extra Large 2 step bird

Stamping 411/From My Garden

This is for the Stamping 411 sketch today.  I love gardening and so when I saw this stamp set in the new mini, I knew it had to be one of my choices.  Well they all had to be one of my choices, what can I say, I'm hooked!  Anyway for this challenge I used the stamp set "Garden from the Heart".  I stamped the image on Whisper White card stock in basic brown classic ink.  I then used the taken with teal marker to color in the ribbon on the hat and then used the orange out of the water color pencils and blended it in with a blending pen.  For the stems on the flowers I used the always artichoke marker and the pumpkin pie marker.  I then sponged the edges with pumpkin pie classic ink and then distressed the edges.  I adhered that to a piece of taken with teal cardstock.  The cardstock for the base of the card is Pumpkin pie textured card stock.  For the gloves and the shovel I stamped the image twice, once on whisper white in basic brown and then on a piece of DSP from the Sweet Pea Designers Series Paper Stack.  I then cut out the gloves on both pieces and pieced the DSP to the whisper white.  The dotted side is actually the back side of the DSP running across the middle of the card.  I love the 2 sided DSP.  I also used the new pinking hearts border on the edge of the DSP and the square scallop punch for the saying.  The inside stamped part of the card is from the stamp set Vintage Vogue and I used the markers Pumpkin Pie and Taken with Teal to color the image in.  Thanks for looking.
