Lace Ribbon and Glitter

Good Morning my friends.  Today I am sharing a card I made last night after my dear daughter's birthday dinner.  I had wanted so bad to do the challenge over at Our Daily Bread Designs blog this week and last night I just got the opportunity.  I did not realize thought that the placement of the ribbon would take me so long.  Had everything done and spent more than 30 minutes trying to place the ribbon which started off with a satin ribbon, then a velvet ribbon and finally this little ribbon.  I almost just quit and then thought, no I am going to finish this card!  And now I am glad I did.

Here is a close up.

Here is a side view of how it is popped up!

Items used for this Card:
Stamp Set: ODBD Scripture Collection 1
Card Stock: SU Very Vanilla, Real Red
Ribbon: Black ribbon was from a blog giveaway that I won (thanks again Nancy), SU 1/8" very vanilla taffeta ribbon.
The roses I made by cutting out a circle and cutting the circle into a spiral and rolling.
SU Dazzling Details for the Glitter

Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!
