On Eagles Wings

I have wanted to use this stamp set for a while also and had not seen the correct sketch or could find what I wanted to use it for.  Well this week the challenge over on Our Daily Bread Design blog was a sketch and that sketch inspired this card.  There are times you just fall in love with a card and this was one of those times.  You can find the sketch challenge here.

To make this card, I actually used Christmas Paper called, frostwood lodge.  But it is also a paper that can be used anytime I think, so I just saw this and used.  Here is a side view of the card!

Again, I used some of the designer paper on the inside to keep with the outside theme.  And used another verse from the same stamp set.

Love working on the insides of my cards. Just adds so much more to the card.

All items used are Stampin' Up except for the stamp set and scallop oval:
Stamp Set: On Eagles Wings- ODBD
Card Stock: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
Designer Series Paper: Frostwood Lodge
Classic Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso
brad for bow
1/8" early espresso taffeta ribbon
Spellbinders Classic Scallop Oval Large Nestabilities

Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!

This is a great card Jonia with a masculine feel. Such a powerful verse that has carried me through difficult circumstances before. Thanks so much for linking this to Scripture Thursday. ~ Abby
