Christmas Lodge

How cool is this!  When I saw the sketch for this week at Unscripted Sketches, I knew I had to use the stamp set Christmas Lodge and do some sponging.  And, I am so glad I did. I love the look of sponging to make an almost evening scene.  With this one, I used the new in-color midnight muse and it just really made the card.  The ink was chocolate chip for the trees and the house.  I also used my white gel pen to add a little more of the snow feel to the trees.

Here is a side view of the card!

And the inside of the card!

All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Sets: Christmas Lodge, Teeny Tiny Wishes, The Sounding Joy
Card Stock: Whisper White, Midnight Muse
Ink: Midnight Muse, Chocolate Chip
Snow Burst embossing folder (retired)
Bitty Banner Framelits
1/4" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon

Thanks for looking and hope your day is blessed!

Ooh...this is a GORGEOUS one, Jonia! The scene you've created is just beautiful! The embossing is incredible too! So lovely how you've repeated it on the inside!
Congratulations to you on your "top three" over at Twist of Faith! :o)

I am not sure what I like most, the embossing or the beautiful sponging. This card is beautiful and a wonderful way to use the sketch. Thanks for sharing your take on this weeks sketch at Unscripted Sketches.
