LNS Callenge 257/Sketch 321- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday everyone!  We have two great challenges for you today.  Late Night Stampers challenge is "Bling it Up CAS Style" and so I used the sketch for this weeks Monday Lunchtime sketch and added the bling.  This weeks sketch is awesome also.  So now here is the card I made using the bling and the sketch.

Using the "Baby We've Grown" stamp set by Stampin Up, I used the Shaker Frames and added some glitter to the inside and some pearls to the shoes.  I just love how it turned out.  I also used the retired Watercolor paper by stampin' up!  Love that paper also.

Here is a close up of the frame with the glitter.

OK, hope you enjoyed my post for today.  Please join me in both challenges today.  I know you won't be sorry you did.

Sketch 320- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready to start your week with a challenge.  Yes, Mary Jo has a wonderful Monday Lunchtime Sketch for you and you will love it.  There are so many different ways you can go with this sketch.  And now here is my take on the sketch.

I decided to use the cupcake punch and the Create a cupcake stamp set.  I also used the polka dot embossing folder for the cupcake tops which I love.  I colored the dots in with marker.  Close up here shows it is not perfect but you really don't notice it.

Now don't forget to stop by Mary Jo's blog and check out her Monday Lunchtime Sketch along with all the DT's samples.  They are really wonderful and so many ideas.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Sketch 319- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday!  Getting started with this post a little late today, but forgot to take my flash drive with me to work.  That is what happens when you have the busiest weekend ever.  Not really, but did put a lot of things into this Father's Day weekend.  Anyway, Our Monday Lunchtime sketch is just awesome this week.  You may want to just play along with us.  I used this as an opportunity to make my Nieces 16th birthday card.  I sure hope she likes it.  On to my card!!!

I did use the sweet from the stamp set Baby We've Grown and placed it by using my Stamp a ma jig.  Gotta love it!  And for the inside, I found this verse by searching and changed just a few things.

She is so excited about driving and her birthday is Saturday, which means she has to wait till Monday to get her license.  She is really upset they will not open on a Saturday for her.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope your week is blessed!

Sketch 318- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday!  Well today Mary Joe out did her self with the sketch.  I just loved it, but it took me a couple of minutes looking at my stamp sets before I decided on "By The Tide."  It seems I use that one a lot with her sketches, but one difference.  This was the first time I used the lobster out of the set.  And, I love the way it turned out.  Probably if I re-did it, the only thing I would change is, move the lobster up a little.  But I still love it.  So here you go!

I did cut the lobster out, but first I stamped it on the Very Vanilla oval piece after I stamped the Happy Birthday which is from a retired set called "Elementary Elegance."  I was worried I would get it too high, so then I stamped the lobster again on very vanilla and put it over the already stamped part of the image on the oval.  You see I knew I would not be able to cut out the antennae (or a better name for it is whiskers).  So the reason for stamping it twice.  Always a reason for doing something, that is me. LOL

And now let's look at the inside!

For the inside I still used the "By the Tide" stamp set, but I also used "Remembering Your Birthday" stamp set for the sentiment.  Love that stamp set, actually love both stamp sets.

And here is a side view which kind of let's you see the dimension of the lobster!

Well thanks for stopping by today and hope your Monday is a Happy One!

And Many Mower - Using my Retired Sets

How cute is this card?  One of my work friends asked me the other day if I would make a birthday card for her husband.  So I asked if there was anything he liked.  And, one of the things he loves is golf.  So what better way to put this old stamp set to use than to make a birthday card for a friend to give to her husband.  I have not used this set in quite some time and actually purchased it because it had a stamp in it that matched my husband to a T!!!  If you go to this post in 2009 you will see the stamp I purchased it for.  The second card, "the 3 R's," reminded me so much of him.

Now let's look at a close up of the card!

And the inside where I found the verse on line and added the last part of it.

Well she really liked it and I am so happy that she did.  Thanks for stopping by today and hope you have a wonderful and blessed week ahead.

Sketch 317- Monday Lunchtime Sketch / LNS Challenge 250

Good Morning everyone, and welcome to another week of two great challenges.  Of course the sketch this week is just wonderful as always and the LNS Challenge is to Celebrate.  So that is exactly what we are going to do, celebrate.  I chose a birthday celebration theme since I was at my mom's this weekend helping out there and I used MY DIGITAL STUDIO.  I then printed it out and adhered it to a white card stock.  So here it is.

So what do you think?  I used the Patio Party paper and love it.  Must print me out some of this paper as I did not realize how cute this paper was.

Even took a side view of the card.

Now don't forget to check out the design team samples from our Monday Lunchtime Sketch and also from our LNS Challenge.  You will be glad you did and hope to see you participating..

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday.
