Sketch 325- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday to all my friends out there.  Well we are back in NC and had a blast the last two weeks.  Got back into town around 3:00 pm after traveling all night.  So you know how I felt when we got back into town.  I still feel as though I have not caught up on my sleep.  When will that end?

Anyway, on to this weeks Monday Lunchtime Sketch.  Again, Mary Jo has a wonderful sketch for us.  So here is my sample for this weeks sketch.

I used a stamp set I got as a hostess reward and this is the first time I used it.  Love the ones that have a sentiment in the stamp itself.  Also used some paper that I had stashed by Stampin' Up!  Have a lot of that and now that I am no longer a demonstrator, I am sure I will be using it all up.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful week.  I am back to work tomorrow!

Sketch 324- Monday Lunchtime Sketch - Christmas in July

Happy Monday friends.  I sure hope this scheduled post does post as I am away and will not be back for another week.  And since I am anticipating it posting, I will just go ahead with all the information.

Again, Mary Jo has outdone herself with this weeks sketch and I for one decided this would be a wonderful sketch for "Christmas in July."  I had been wanting to use this Stamp called "Wonderful Wreath by stampin' up! and I am excited with the way it turned out.  So here you go!

Isn't this just beautiful!  I love it!  I used the Petite Petals and punch for the flower and the sentiment came from an older stamp set called Christmas Lodge.

Here is a close up of the Wreath.

OK, I hope you have enjoyed my sample today and please make sure you stop by and check out the rest of the design team's samples for this great sketch.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sketch 323- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Well happy Monday and today is a happy Monday for me as my husband and I are flying out this morning headed for and Alaska land excursion/cruise.  We will be gone for two weeks and I really need the break, plus this we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary.  Yeahhhhhhh is all I can say.  God has been good to us.

Anyway, on to this weeks Monday Lunchtime Sketch.  I used this sketch, to make my grandson's 4th birthday card.  It just seemed to work out wonderfully to use this old stamp set from stampin up called I Dig You! I also used the Happy Watercolor stamp set and it turned out great for the dirt and sky.  And, the sentiment came from the Remembering your birthday stamp set.  Well I tried to get them on in on this one card, but couldn't quite use that many.  LOL  Here it is!

Isn't this just the cutest.  I am sure he will like it.  His birthday is the day after we get back, so I will give it to him that day.  Don't know what I am going to do without seeing my grandkids for the next two weeks, but I am sure I will get a lot of hugs and kisses when I return.

Enjoy your week!

Sketch 322- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July Weekend.  We had family over and it was great.  Love it when you get together with family.

Anyway, the sketch for this week is very unique and took me a little while to decide what to do, but finally I got it together and this is what I came up with.

I actually used two things I had not used before and I hate to purchase something and then not use it.  I love paper piercing, but have not done it in a while.  So I used the Festive Paper piercing pack.    And I love how it turned out.  I also used thee water color wonder paper.  Since I am no longer a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, it is harder to keep up with what is retired.  But this paper retired I am sure June 1st.  But I have so much paper, that I have decided to use it instead of getting new designer paper if at all possible.

I also used it on the inside to cover up the paper piercing on the top layer.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other design team samples and the sketch, as each one is very unique for this sketch.  You will love them.  Great ideas.  Have a blessed day.
