Note Card Tin decorated

My fifth post of the week and I am so thrilled with the outcome of this project.  If you would like to see the cards that went into this post, check here, here, here, and here.

I used "My Digital Studio" which is an old SU program but I still use it all the time, to go in and make the actual Layout you see here.  Once I printed it, I added the butterfly, the pearls, and then I added some sparkle by using the Clear Wink of Stella.  I just love that stuff and it is perfect to dress up any card or note card tin.  I used it on the butterfly, around the edges of the card stock and the flowers on the paper.  You can see it in the below photo if you really look.

And now to show you the inside and how nicely the note cards fit inside the box.  It is perfect.  The box actually is about 5.25 X 3.75 and the cards inside are the note cards 5 X 3.5.  I was meant to be where these little tins were selling out and got a great price on them.  They have been sitting in my home for about 3 years and it finally just dawned on me how to use them.  DUHHHHH! I have 15 cards in the tin, but you could probably add more if you would like.

Hope you enjoyed my 5 days of sharing how to fill a tin with quick and simple cards and then how to decorate a tin.  These would be a great craft show seller also.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Serene Scenery DSP Part 2

Good Thursday Morning.

Again, for this set of cards I am using the Serene Scenery DSP from Stampin' Up!  I am so glad that my demonstrator recommended this to me.  I am loving it.  I could only make 3 cards from this sheet as I had already used it previously to make some cards.  But it still gives me a total of 15 cards to go into the little tin.  Isn't this the coolest designer paper.

Here are all 3 cards!

Here is a single card so you can really see what it looks like.

Tomorrow I will share the Tin decorated and filled with the cards.

Thanks for stopping by and hope your Thursday is blessed.

Serene Scenery DSP Note Cards Part 1

Happy Wednesday!  Are you surprised?  3 days in a row for me.  Wow, even I am surprised.

Well this is 4 more cards that I am adding to my tin that will be showcased later this week.  In these cards, I used the Serene Scenery DSP which I love.  You can stamp right onto the designer paper and it adds so much character.  I am hoping this little tin of 15 note cards will go well at our silent auction for "Gateway Landing."  Every year the cards seem to go really well.  The basket of cards went for $45 last year, so hoping this little tin goes well also.  I would love for it to go for $25 or more.  We will see.

Here is all 4 cards!

Here is a single card so you can see more of what is stamped on it.

Again, thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow.

"Upsy Daisy" Note Cards

Day two of my selection of Note Cards I will be adding to the Tin for our Gateway Landing Banquet coming up the end of April.  Yesterday was more of a masculine touch and today is more of a feminine touch.  I used an old stamp set that I could not bare to get rid of called Upsy Daisy.  I just love this set because it is so easy to use.  I used the same color of ink for all the stamping, I just stamped twice and sometimes three times without re-inking the stamp.  What a great way to get it done quick and looks as though you used different colors.  Again these are note card, 5 X 3.5 and a great way to just send a note to someone.

Here is all 4 cards in the set!

And here are two of the cards so you can see a little closer up!

Thanks for stopping by on this wonderful Tuesday.  Have a great day everyone.

"By the Tide" Assorted Note Cards

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I would like to share with you the not cards (5 X 3.5) I am making for a smaller tin that I bought about 8 of when I caught them on sale.  I just love the size of these note cards and am doing a total of 15 for this box.  For the next week I will share with you each day the cards that are going into the box and I am donating to a non-profit organization, Gateway Landing, for a banquet and silent auction they will be having.  Every year between me and my demonstrator, we have a basket of cards and other items that are placed on the auction table.  God has blessed me with this unique gift of card making and I want to help out with it as much as possible.  So below is one of the cards in the set which helps you to see the detail a little better.  I do love this set call "By the Tide."  I hope you enjoy also.

The 4 cards in this set!

Have a great Monday everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Paper Pumpkin March 2017 - LOVE

How sweet are these little cards and the little bunny bags.  I just fell in love when I saw the March 2017 Paper Pumpkin.  In all reality I decided the night before the deadline for March to do a 3 month subscription for the Paper Pumpkin and had no idea what cute Easter goodies I would be able to do for my grandkids.  You make 9 cards and then 9 bags.  My SU demonstrator dropped off an order for me today and said the refill kits would be available soon, so I asked her to order the refill kit for me too so I could do 9 more.

I just love them and it gives me great ideas for the future.  I could make those little bags and of course I could make the cards also.  And, I now have the bunny faces stamp set, so I am good to go.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy these cute little bags as much as I do.  There is also a little ball on the back of the bag for the bunny tail. lol.

Bold Butterfly Framelits card

Yet another card!  Yes, I have been stamping more lately and even posting what I have stamped.  I am trying to go back and use some of my items that I have not used in a while and in doing so, use some of the Designer Paper I have stashed and boy to I have a lot.  With this one I used the Bold Butterfly Framelits by SU and stamp set Happiest Birthday Wishes.

High Tide Lighthouse

I just love light houses and so I created this card with the High Tide Stampin' up! set and the Scripture Collection # 1 from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I just love the way it came it and so excited to be able to send it to our Pastor and his wife today.  Their daughter and her husband is moving away and I just thought this would give them some peace as they send them on their way to be on staff at another church.  I just love the colors and hope you to.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.

Book Marks for Bible Study

Good Morning all!

I am sharing some book marks I made for the 1st week of Bible study at my house.  This is the second session I have done and we have really been enjoying our time together.  So I thought for this 6 week period I would do a book mark that they could keep in their book to "Mark the Spot."  The verse was one of the Scripture Collection #6 from Our Daily Bread Designs.  Love these scripture stamps.  I punched out cardboard and a piece of designer paper from stampin up with the Label punch from stampin' up and then adhered the designer paper to the heavy cardboard to help the book mark stand up to everyday use.  I also used a die I had won from somewhere (sorry can't remember) from Memory Box.  It was a large die, so I ran through the bigshot twice and then cut the different flowers off and made 3 from one and then four from the other.  So easy and so fun.  I then of course used the ink to sponge the edges of the book mark and also sponged the white ribbon at the top to give the antique effect.

Thanks for stopping by for my second day in a row of posting.  I really have got to get back in the habit.  I have been making cards and other things, but just not taking pictures before I give it away or mail it. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

60th Birthday Card

Happy Tuesday, actually Fat Tuesday here at UNCW.

Today I am sharing a birthday card I made for my boss' 60th birthday.  How cute is this?  Her favorite color is pink, so I used the pink base for the card and then used designer series paper and vanilla cardstock for the rest.  Hope you like it.

I have got to get back to really taking good photos and posting more often, but at least you get the idea behind this cute card.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.
