Good Monday Morning to all of you and hope you are having a wonderful start to your week. Tomorrow is the first day of the year of 2013! Can you believe it? I know this past year has just flown by and I am so excited to be able to start a brand new year in church tonight. We are having a New Year's Eve service which we do yearly. What better way to start the New Year than worshiping the King of Kings, Jesus!
I have some exciting news for you as we are starting a LateNight Stamper's is starting a new blog! You can find it here and it will tell you all about it in the first post! And, our first challenge is going to be a prize challenge, so you definitely want to check it out. Also, our first challenge is to use a snowflake or snowflakes on your project. So I used the Northern Flurry embossing folder and made a very simple card. I have a friend who is going through a difficult time now and I thought this would be the perfect card for her to uplift her spirit. So here it is!
And here is a side view of the card!
And the inside of the card along with the envelope!
I actually put the verse on the envelope and embossed it with one of the embossing folder. I thought it turned out great. Just a simple card to let someone know you care.
I am also entering this into the SUO challenge where you are to use blue and I used the Not Quite Navy as my background and ink color!
All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Blessings from Heaven
Card Stock: Shimmery White, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy
Ink: Not Quite Navy
