Two simple Cards
Just playing today and trying to get rid of some old designer paper and using the vivid vases stamp set by stampin up! It is quite old, but I do love this set! I used water color paper and my blender pens along with Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Calyso Coral ink pads for the water color effect. Added a little sparkle by using Wink of Stella Clear. So easy to make!
Card Base- 5 1/2 x 8 folded in half
Designer paper-5 1/4 x 4
Image was cut out using an old die I had!
Added a piece of washi tape in the middle under image
And here is my second card! This card uses another old set called Vintage Verses. All the cuttings are the same as the first and easy, easy to do!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Tuesday!

The Paper Players sketch PP497
Needed to make a card for a friend of ours who lost his dad and saw the sketch from The Paper Players. I loved the sketch, but I am not sure how my card came together with the water color and the papers. So please tell me what you think as I don’t want to send out something that don’t match. I used two stamp sets, Wetlands and Close as a Memory, an oldie but good one. So here it is for your review.
Love doing the inside of the cards.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Saturday everyone. I am so excited to be back to stamping and using some of my old but great stamp sets. I have so many and hate to part with them. I loved the colors and just went through my stamps and these two stamp sets just stood out, Blessings from Heaven and Array of Sunshine. There is nothing better than creating your own designer paper. I hope you like the finished product because I do.

Father”s Day card
Happy Friday to everyone! Today I made this special card for my husband by using some old designer paper I had called Adventure Bound. It is probably at least 4 years old and was from Stampin Up. I loved all the paper and was surprised to find this piece left. It was great for a Father’s Day Card for my husband. I also got the salutation from another stamp set called And Many Mower. Another old stamp set by Stampin up. The other salutation on the inside was from Hooray Its your Birthday also by Stampin up.So without further ado, here it is!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope your Friday and weekend is blessed.

Hey Chick cards
Happy Sunday everyone. Hope you are all doing well this rainy Sunday! I would like to share with you two cards that I used an old stamp set from Stampin up called “Hey Chick.” I really had a great time doing these cards, and they are so fun. As you can see below, I also did the inside of each card. Also with the first card I outlined in red using a red thin sharpie the embossing created by an old embossing folder from Stampin up! Both cards were so easy. And great cards to send out for birthday or just to make someone smile.
Now it is your turn. Pull out some of those old stamps and those old embossing folders and get to work. I know you will be blessed. Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my cards. God bless you all!

Sweet n Sassy Mr Fixit
On the Sweet N Sassy VIP Facebook page, their challenge was to do a masculine card for this month. They had this cute digital set for free on the Facebook page and so I printed 2 of them on size 8 1/2 X 11 paper. You can find the digital stamp set Here if you would like to check it out. So here is my card using this digital set.
And here is the inside!
I actually took the Happy Father’s Day and cut it apart by hand. I also sponged the paper for the greeting on outside and inside and sponged the outer edges of the card. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed your visit.

I think you get about 10 pages of the digital stamps but check it out. Some really cute ways to send out cards to people and let them know you are thinking about them. Here are two cards I made!
Aren’t these just the cutest. Please go over and check out the video Here on how to make this pattern with your designer paper and also how to order the digital stamp set. Thanks for stopping by everyone!

Magical Mermaid and Sea Life
Hi everyone, and hope you are all doing well. I am back with two cards for you today. The first card is for the challenges at the following places. First of all The Paper Players sketch! Second, The color throw down challenge. And, finally Stampin Up Only challenge, which is designers choice. So with this card I water colored the paper and then black embossed all the stamping.
I am loving this stamp and the many different things you can do with it.
Now for my second card which is just an add on, is made by using the By The Tide stamp set. I also used the oval dies to make the sponging for the sea life.
So there you have it. Hope I have inspired you today. Thanks for stopping by.

Color Throw Down Challenge #594
Happy Saturday everyone. I found this challenge (again) this morning and decided to make a card for it and then decided to make another, so I have two cards to share with you. I actually played with Color Throw Down way back when I was stamping a lot and loved doing the color challenges. Color challenges can give you a lot of inspiration.
For the first card I used the stamp set Butterfly Basics and the dies that go with it. As I said in my last post, this is one of my favorite stamp sets. It is so versatile and the dies are fantastic. So here is my butterfly card.
Now here is my second card and for this one I used the old stamp set Motorcycle. This is always a good card for a man and a woman. I have a good friend that just finally sold her pink motorcycle and now just rides with her husband. But I do love this old standbys stamp.

Butterfly Basics-Retro Rubber Challenge Blog
Hope everyone is doing well. I used one of my old time favorite stamp sets today to make this card for this weeks Retro Rubber Challenge. There challenge was Tic Tac Toe and you had to choose 3 in a straight line, tic tac toe style. I chose die cut, birthday, and bright colors. This is just my style. Another reason for playing this challenge is most of my stamps are over a year old and that is one of the rules. I think Butterfly basics is around 3-5 years old, maybe older. For the bright colors, I used Melon Mambo (one of my favorite colors) and gum ball green. There were spots I double stamped off the paper to lighten the color some, but they are the only two colors I used. I also used the bold butterfly framelits for the butterfly. So now for the card!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and please check out the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.
Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.

Uplifting Card
This weeks Stampin Up Only Challenge is to Celebrate Women. Well I was looking at my punches and I saw my old bird punch and decided to use it along with another punch to highlight the sentiment of one of the stamps in The Rose Wonder set. What a beautiful set it is, even though I only used one of them. It is actually one of my favorite stamp sets. I also stamped flowers in black on a white paper for the background using the stamp set Secret Garden and even added color over them by sponging. So without further ado, here it is.
If you use Stampin Up, please try out this challenge and do a card for a beautiful lady in your life. We all need some uplifting right now and what better way to celebrate a friend than to send a card. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Hi everyone, I am back with a card for this weeks Paper Players Challenge. I love a good color challenge and this one worked great for a card I wanted to make for a friend of mine. Colors for the challenge were pool party, melon mambo and apple green. I did not have the apple green, so I used the gum ball green. Stamp set used was Beautiful You by Stampin Up and used the balloon punch. I also used one of the stamps to make the design paper.
Don’t you just love this stamp-set? Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a beautiful day. Stay Home and stay safe!

The Paper Players - PP488 sketch challenge
Hi everyone and I am back Playing with the Paper Players blog challenge today. It was a sketch and I decided to repurpose a card a friend sent to me. I just loved the art and wording on it, so, why not share with someone else. And since it was sitting on my desk this morning when I went and looked at the challenge, it just seemed right. I am a stickler for not throwing anything away I might be able to use in my card making and that can be dangerous. Haha. Just so I don't do anything wrong, on the back of her card, it said, “Original Art by Jane Shasky.” So if you want to look her up you can. Now here is my card fir this challenge!
Decided to emboss the yellow paper with an old embossing folder I got way back when i began stamping. Not sure of name, but I do love it.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you stay safe in your home! Also, repurpose those cards!

Suo only challenge-Happy Birthday
There is a new challenge over at Stampin Up Only challenge blog. For this challenge we were to make a birthday card. Sitting there on my table was the Create A Cupcake stamp set, so I Thought just use that. And as I was going through my embossing folders, I found the SU Confetti Embossing folder and it had never been used. Also, the center of the confetti embossing folder was an oval, so I used the Oval dies. So, here is the outcome!
Thanks for stopping by, now go get those old stamps, dies, punches, and embossing folders out and make some cards.

The Paper Players: PP487-CAS with sparkle
was excited to stamp today and was looking for a challenge and happened to find this great challenge over at The Paper Players blog. As I had already pulled out one of my old stamps (Motorcycle) again, I decided to use it to make yet another card and use it for this challenge for a CAS card and add some sparkle. So here is my challenge card!
For this I used the red sparkle paper for the pennant, so cute!
Here is the first card I made and definitely like the one above better.
Thanks so much for stopping by and take out those stamps and get to work.

Owl Punch, Using Old Stuff
Well, saw my owl punch sitting on my shelf and thought wow let me use that old punch. I had seen something like this on Pinterest so thank you Pinterest for the idea. I also used a die cut I got at A C Moore ( hate they are going out of business) for very little, a Love Nichole feather die. It seemed to match the theme of the card. Alway remember to look at the old stuff. You can really make some great cards out of them. Sentiment came from an old stamp-set by SU called Happiest Birthday Wishes. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Monday!

Stampin Up Only Challenge, Embossing
Well here I am again. how great is that. I am playing almost everyday with my stamps for at least 30 minutes or so. I am just looking at my stamps and picking one. Here is one I used called Apothecary Art, and then I water colored the flowers with a blending pen. tThe sentiment in the middle came from Messages for Mom, another old stamp set. I then used an embossing folder from Stampin Up, unsure of name, ran it through the big shot and then ran my white ink pad over the top. You just got to love it. Thought this card would be great to send out for some encouragement right now.
I am using this card for the Stampin Up Only challenge. Hope you enjoy!
Hope you have a wonderful and blessed day!

Stampin up only challenge
Hi everyone! I’m back again with a card I created for the stampin up only challenge. How great is that. Been a while since I did any challenges and this stay at home quarantine has got me stamping again. Something I have always loved.
There challenge for this was a sketch challenge using one of the cards from the SU spring catalogue on page 42. I am so happy with the way this turned out. Here is my card using the butterfly dies and of course some old DS paper I had. Sentiment came from stamp set six sided sampler.

Lots of Stamping Going On!
During this Season in our lives, I seem to be reaching out to God even more so. I love my Lord, but I think we seem to not pray or seek Him as much or praise Him when we are fine, no sickness, and everything is great. So it really makes us think about how faithful God is to us all the time. He loves us even when we are slack.
Since we are quarantined to our homes right now and doing social distancing, I have also been stamping quite a bit over the last week. I forgot the joy it brings to me. Thankful God slows us down to bring joy into our lives.
I actually joined in on the Sweet ‘n Sassy Birthday weekend honoring Korin, owner of Sweet ‘n Sassy. It was a blast. I did some techniques I had not done in ages or at all. Here are some of the cards I did.

Sponging inside and out
Using all my scraps, inside and out
Make a card with a pocket on it. Inside and out.
Paper piecing, loved it!
Color challenge
Acrylic Paint Swiping (so much fun)
Ink Blending on the butterflies! Loved doing this.
Ok, there you have it. My weekend fun! Hope you enjoyed looking and remember that God loves you and is still in control. I am praying for our world and leaders during this time of uncertainty. May God heal our Land!
