Paper Doily/ Blessings from Heaven

Wow, I was beginning to think there would be no more stamping for me for a while.  My back is really giving me fits and I can not sit for extended periods of time.  So my job is not really working for me now as I sit at a computer most of the day.  But, I found out tonight that if I stand up for a little while, then lay back down on the floor flat for a little bit (gets boring but is really the only position that doesn't hurt) eventually, I will get a card done.

So this card was inspired by this weeks Stampin Queen's Sketch!  As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew what I wanted to do and it turned out just as I hoped it would.  I will be sending this card to a dear friend of mine from church who is having a hard time right now.  I know she will love it.

Here is another angle of the card!

And of course I am loving using the designer paper on the inside of the cards!

Not very happy with this photo, but you get the idea of what it looks like!  Isn't this paper just wonderful and it is part of the sale-a-bration book!  Can't wait to share this with my stamp club!

Here are the items I used to make this card!

Stamp Set: Blessings from Heaven
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral
Designer Series Paper: Everyday Enchantment (sale-a-bration)
Classic Ink: Calypso Coral, Pool Party
Paper Doily Sizzix Die (Occasions Mini)
1 3/4" round punch, 2 3/8" round punch
Baha Breeze 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon
Square Lattice Embossing Folder

Thanks for looking today and now it is time to go lay back down on the floor!  I might could get better if I could just rest!  Have a great evening.

  4. Aww...so sorry about your back, my friend! How does that go at work...the standing and then lying on the floor bit? Hope your work floors are cleaner than most! Not the place I would want to lie around! lol I'm teasing of course! Pain is never easy! Your card is gorgeous though! Love the color combinations, and that doily is so lovely! I'll be praying! :o)
