Good Friday Morning all and hope your day has started out beautifully. I am at work and thought I would take a moment to post this and then back to the grind before someone catches me and fires me. Anyway this note card (that is what I want to use it as) was inspired by this weeks Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I loved the sketch and thought it would be perfect for this cute stamp set and I think I was right. I stamped the image on very vanilla textured card stock and then punched it out with the 1 3/4 round punch which gave a little bit of layer of vanilla. Then I punched out the scallop layer with the 2 3/8 scallop punch. Makes it look like three layers, but only two.
Here is the side view!
And the inside where I can put a note!
All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Serene Silhouettes
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Primrose Petals
Designer Series Paper: Print Poetry Stack
5/8" grosgrain ribbon in very vanilla
2 3/8" Scallop Punch
1 3/4" round punch
Thanks for stopping by and hope your day is filled with joy!
Jonia love what you have done with the sketch. I don't understand why our employers don't realize that stamping makes us happy. If you are happy, you are more productive. If you are more productive your boss wins. I think we need stamping breaks at work! Thanks for joining us this week and sharing your talent at Try Stampin on Tuesday.
