Happy Saturday everyone. I am so excited to be back to stamping and using some of my old but great stamp sets.  I have so many and hate to part with them.  Today I am sharing a card I have done for the latest color challenge over at Color Throw Down!  I loved the colors and just went through my stamps and these two stamp sets just stood out, Blessings from Heaven and Array of Sunshine. There is nothing better than creating your own designer paper. I hope you like the finished product because I do.

Now it is your turn to go over and join this great color challenge before it ends on Monday.THANKS FOR STOPPING BY and enjoy your day!

Butterfly Punch, Blessings from Heaven, Washi Tape

Happy Friday.  I was looking at Pinterest again and saw this wonderful easy card that I needed to case.  I know I am going back to spring, but I could not help myself.  You can find the original card here.  She has quite a few cards she used the washi tape with.  Great ideas!

So here is my version.

And the inside. (messed up the butterfly at bottom, but it is just me) :)

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful and blessed day.

French Foliage card

Hi everyone, I am back before a week is over.  But I made this card from a card I found on Pinterest which you can find here.  I went to my stamps and picked out one I had not used in a long time and then of course looked it up on Pinterest.  Isn't that easy.  My is a little different, but the idea is the same.  So funny because that next day my husband asked me if I had a card to send to a friend who was about to celebrate the one year anniversary of losing a brother.  I brought him this one along with some others and this was the one he chose.  My husband also lost his brother one year ago this week to a farming accident so when he found out about this person, he wanted to let him know he understood what he was going through.  I have the most thoughtful and compassionate husband (that is what God can do).

Here is the card!

And the inside!

Thanks for stopping by for the second time in a week.  I really appreciate your support and love!  Have a wonderful weekend.

Clean and Simple - Flower Shop

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start this post off with the card itself since I was so happy with the outcome.  I actually used the sketch from Clean and Simple blog.  It was one of those times that I knew even before I went to get the paper what I wanted to do and it turned out even better than I thought.  This will go to someone special who needs to be uplifted today.

Here is a side view of the card.  Color was not quite right, but you can see that I stamped the image on the white 3 times and then stamped it again on another white piece and then punched it out with the punch that goes with this set, and of course popped it up with a dimensional.

Now I also had to work on the inside some, so I used another stamp from this set for the inside.

All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Flower Shop, Blessings from Heaven
Card Stock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Primrose Petals, Gumball Green (leaves)
Ink: Stazon Black, Primrose Petals
Pansy Punch
Bird Punch (leaves)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you have a wonderful and blessed day.

I am also linking this to Word Art Wednesday!

LNS Challenge 234 / Sketch 285 - Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Hi everyone and welcome to this weeks challenges for Late Night Stampers and the Monday Lunchtime sketch.  Boy has it been a week for me.  I am working on items for our craft show bazaar at church on November 9th and it has just consumed my at home time.  I have three weeks left to get it all together, so I have not been posting much, but can't wait to share with you some of the items I will have there.  So if I have missed commenting on your post, now you know why.  Now on to my two challenges.

The sketch this week from Mary Jo was a little different, but I have learned to like different and was pleased with the outcome of my card.  And the design team has really done a great job with it, so you will have to stop by her blog and check them all out.  Again, I  combined it with this weeks challenge at Late Night Stampers which is to Fall into "Fall."  I have been a little slack with fall this year and this is only about the second card I have made that works into the fall theme.  So here is my sample for this weeks challenges.

Can you tell I am getting use to the one layer cards.  Easy is the best way when you are as busy as I am, yet want to keep stamping every possible minute you can.

Here is a side view!

And yes I did the inside also!  Now it don't look as clean and simple.

And I even used the envelope die to make a liner for the envelope!

Now how great is that.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to drop by the blogs and see all the other fall cards.

Good Morning Friends.  So excited to be with you today and bringing you another two challenges from our Late Night Stampers and our Monday Lunch Time Sketch!  This week our challenge for Late Night Stampers is to use Lace, So I added some lace and even changed the color by sponging the lace.  I love to do that and this card turned out so well.  And of course as always, Mary Jo's sketch was just perfect to be able to combine the challenges.

I was able to use the This and That Epic Day DSP to stamp the image on along with using the This and That Epic Day Washi Tape for the banners which brought this card together perfectly.  Here is a side view of the card!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 271--TSSC271

Happy Monday Morning to my wonderful friends.  Well my stamping is still lacking as my daughter is still with me until Wednesday Morning when she leaves bright and early.  That will definitely be a sad morning for me, but we will see her the weekend as we are keeping my granddaughter and driving up on Sunday!  So we will be excited about that.  I really hate to see my daughter go 4 1/2 hours away, but that is the call of the military.  Now I know how my mom felt except my first time away from home was across the US.  So it was a two to 3 day drive.  So I guess I am very blessed!  Now on to today's challenge!  Mary Jo's sketch is another great one for this week.  And I looked back at one of my favorite stamp sets and here is what I came up with.

I am loving this Strawberry Slush card stock and want to pull it every time I look in my stash.  Here is a side view!

And the inside!

Well when I stamped the sentiment on the inside, I messed up and had to re stamp and paste in.  I usually stamp before adhering the piece of card stock, but I guess this time, I was not thinking.  Either way, the person I give it too hopefully will not know that!  LOL

Well I got up early this morning and decided to make a card for two challenges. One is the Sketch Frenzy Friday and the other is Sunny Challenges & Creations.  When I saw the sketch this morning I knew what items I could use to link up with the Sunny Challenges as their challenge was to use something from the Seasonal Catalog.  Well I just love the lace tape and the doilies and it seemed to match so well with the sketch, so here is what I came up with.

I am really happy with the look of this card!  Here is a side view!

Good Monday Morning to all of you and hope you are having a wonderful start to your week.  Tomorrow is the first day of the year of 2013!  Can you believe it?  I know this past year has just flown by and I am so excited to be able to start a brand new year in church tonight.  We are having a New Year's Eve service which we do yearly.  What better way to start the New Year than worshiping the King of Kings, Jesus!

New Stuff Sneak Peak

Good Morning and boy did it feel good to get back into the craft room last night and make this card.  It was a lot of fun and felt so good.  I have really just been so busy, but finally had the chance to do a little stamping.  I used my new stuff along with some of my old stuff.  The new stuff included the new Stamp Set Secret Garden and guess what?  I did not cut the flower out, I used the framelits that go along with it.  Oh so easy!  The paper is some of the new stuff also and it is called Tea for Two and it is just beautiful.  Love to get new stuff and then use it.  These items will be available on January 2nd for order.  I did emboss the flower and the sentiment.  Love embossing!  And, this was inspired by this weeks sketch over at Paper Craft Crew Challenge blog where they also had a color challenge, but I did not do that part.  I wanted to used my new paper too much!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!  Today I did a one layer clean & simple card!  Can you believe it?  It is hard for me to believe, but I had a few moments last night and thought I would work on the sketch from Clean&Simple! And, while I was at it I used the color challenge from Pals Paper Arts!  And, since I am on the fall kick this week, the colors worked out great!

Here is the side view of the card!  For some reason this view was a little brighter.  Just the angle of the camera and the light I guess!

And yes even though it is a one layer card, I had to layer the inside!

It was a quick and easy card and now that I have done this one, I must do more.

SU LateNightStamper's Challenge/FALL into Stamping

This week's challenge with our LateNightStampers group is Fall!  Well I got the wheel before the cart or is that the cart before the wheel, anyway, I have been doing Christmas cards.  So it was refreshing to be able to pull out this die and this stamp set I got back in July.  I had been wanting to use it, so when I saw the sketch this week over at Stamping 411, I kept thinking until I finally figured out how I was going to use it. (Also, I was sad to see that Stamping 411 will be taking a break, but I know it is much needed for them and I hope to see them back soon.) I think the card worked out very well, as I love the outcome.  I also love stamping on card stock to make my own design paper which is a wonderful technique.  So easy to just take certain stamps and stamp all over paper using the colors that best suit the card.

Here is a side view!

and yes, I did the inside!

SU LateNightStampers Challenge/Layers

The challenge this week at LateNightStampers is to do Layers, as many as possible and when I saw this weeks sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday, I knew I would use that sketch to do the challenge.  It is hard to tell above, but the card base is gray, then whisper white, designer paper, primrose petals, whisper white for image.  And, I even layered the doily with whisper white.  So I have a total of 5 layers.  Yes, I know you can have more, but that is a lot of layers for me.

Here is a side view of the card!

I took the photo outside on my table.  Just seems to brighten up the whole photo.

And of course I did not forget to do the inside and if you count these layers, I did a lot more. lol
