The Paper Players: PP487-CAS with sparkle

was excited to stamp today and was looking for a challenge and happened to find this great challenge over at The Paper Players blog.  As I had already pulled out one of my old stamps (Motorcycle) again, I decided to use it to make yet another card and use it for this challenge for a CAS card and add some sparkle.  So here is my challenge card!

For this I used the red sparkle paper for the pennant, so cute!

Here is the first card I made and definitely like the one above better.

Thanks so much for stopping by and take out those stamps and get to work.

Making my own designer paper

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today I want to share a another sample I did for this two week challenge at Late Night Stampers.  I will be linking this one, but please check out what the other stampers did.  I actually took the inspiration photo and chose some of my favorite colors in it and created the top layer of the card.  In other words, I created my own designer paper.  Don't you just love to do that.  I also found this wonderful and cute corner punch at 80% off and decided to use it on this card, inside and out.

Here is a side view of the card!

You can see the inside a little here.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other entries at Late Night Stampers Blog.

Clean & Simple Birthday

Happy HUMP Day everyone!  I wanted to share my card for the Clean & Simple Challenge this week.  I really liked their sketch and I knew it would be a quick card so quick it was and used some of my scraps that have been laying around.  I kind of went a little crooked on the placement of the designer paper, but it is still a fund and cute card.  Sorry about the color.

Now the inside is also fun!

I decided to use some of my old Designer Paper as I have drawers full of it.  I think we all do.

LNS Challenge 242/Sketch 301- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Well Happy Monday!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was busy but a blessing.  My daughter was in  town and of course my grandchildren and I got a lot of kisses.  Love being a grandmother and love getting all those kisses.

Well as you know it is Monday and time for our Late Night Stampers challenge along with the Monday Lunch Time Sketch.  So the challenge for Late Night Stampers this week is to emboss, yes emboss - wet or dry embossing.  You get to make that choice and I chose to use my embossing folders and used one I have not used in a while along with Designer  Paper I have not used in a while.  So here is my sample for this week.

This is the most layers I have used in quite a while.  But  I do like the outcome.

Clean & Simple Banner

Happy Tuesday to you!  I had a few moments last night and saw the sketch from Clean & Simple  Sketch and just had to use my banners framelits and the Perfect Pennant stamp set.  It was perfect for this set.  Also, I have a friend that is going through some tough times and thought this was the perfect sentiment for the card.  I also used a scripture on the inside from Our Daily Bread Designs.  It just seemed to add the final touch to the card.

Here is the inside.

When all else seems to be going wrong, I can always depend on God and how he will bring rest to my soul.  He has been my fortress through all these last two months with my brother and mother.  When my sister's and I thought we could not do any more, God showed us just how strong we were with him.  I am so thankful to be able to lean on Him.

All items are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
