1st Birthday Card and Fall Decorations Theme

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday and you are not too excited to see a post from me.  Life is just getting in the way of my crafting, but that is OK for this season of time.

Today is my granddaughter, Ansley's first birthday.  We went to VA this weekend to celebrate it with her, so I thought I would share some of the cute things that were done.  1st, I will share with you the cute card I did for her birthday.  This is the front.

And this is the inside.

Then here are some things my daughter did to decorate her house with a fall theme.  She used my bigshot and oval dies for most of it.

How cute is this pumpkin.  My daughter got her good crafting sense from me.  Actually I think she is better than I am.

How cute are the leaves!

And she made the little names for each dish!

How creative is that?

She did such a great job!

And now for the main attraction!  Our little Birthday girl, Ansley!  So, so sweet!

Hope you enjoyed my post for today and enjoy the rest of your week!

Scallop Tag Punch and By the Tide - Fun!

We made a card in our last stamp club meeting using the Scallop Tag Punch and I just loved it.  So of course checked out Pinterest and saw all thee cards you can make using the Scallop Tag punch and I found this video which was great to follow.  Here is the direct link to u-tube!  But the first time I made it, I knew that I wanted to use the stamp set By the Tide and make it look something like an aquarium.  So here is what I came up with.

I just love it!  And here it is opened up!

I thought it would be a great note card or an encouraging card.

Assorted Cards-Simply Sent Everyday Elegance

Well I have been trying to get my craft room organized and in doing so, I am finding all kinds of things I forgot I had.  I had ordered this set of Simply Sent Everyday Elegance Card kit from the SU Clearance Rack.  I know it was less than $3 for the kit, so I needed a set of quick cards to be able to put into our upcoming auction for Gateway Landing, facebook page.  So when I found these, I put them where I would be able to work on them when I could and yesterday was the day.  Here is the whole set.

And here are just the Cherry Cobbler.

And now for the Baja Breeze!

I now wish I had bought more than one pack of these, but next time I will know.

Here is the box I put them in and got it off of the Clearance Rack at Stampin' Up! also.  You can check thee clearance rack out by going to my website

I made the insert by using My Digital Studio and printing it out.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are continuing to stay warm.

LNS Challenge 238/Sketch 293- Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Well I am back!  So sorry for the long pause, but my brother was put back into ICU and so I was kind of tied up for a little while.  But again God has stepped in and performed a miracle and I am so thankful.  He is still very weak, but doing better.  Thanks again for the prayers that I know are going up for him.

OK, so I have not posted in two week and now our challenge for this week at LNS is to go simple, but not too simple.  Do at least three layers, add a few embellishments and that is exactly what I did.  And, yes I did lover Mary Jo's sketch this week.  So you must join both of these wonderful challenges this week.  I think you will be glad you did.  So here is my sample.

I am not happy with my coloring, but I just did not have the time to redo it.  So this is just the way it is going to stay.  I am probably more brutal with my own creations than others are, but it is what it is.  I do love the layout of the card and how the flowers are positioned, just do not like how I colored the flowers.  And yes I did do the inside and so glad I did.

So don't forget to check out these two fabulous challenges and see what the rest of the design team came up with.

Items Used are Stampin' Up!

Card Stock: Pink pirouette, Primrose Petals
Designer Series Paper: Birthday Basics

Post 9 Craft Show

I just love the Petite Purse die that Stampin' Up! has and when I saw this cute snowman on Pinterest,  I just had to try my hand at it.  Debbie Henderson is the author of this one and the one below and you can find the direct link to her site here.  Mine is a little different, but not that much.  I have put four of the Hershey Nuggets inside for a cute gift for kids or adults.  I thought I would also tell them that it would be cute for jewelry or anything like that, don't you think.  I also hung them all on this rack I had and it just worked for displaying them.  Just hope they all stay on there during the transition on Saturday.  Here is another one I made that I saw on PINTEREST.

This is my favorite and it is just cute.  I love the silver and the Navy together along with the extra Baja breeze card stock I had left.  Turned out great.  And one more purse to share.

I am enjoying getting rid of all this paper I have from last year and the year before.

Now here is the stand that I have them displayed on.  I will be selling these for $3.00 or maybe $4.00.  Like I said they are holding 4 nuggets each.  Let me know what you think?

Thanks for stopping by and hope your week is going great.

Project 4 for Craft Show

Happy Tuesday to all my friends! Hope your week has started with a bang.  I know lately my everyday starts with a bang.  Seems like I am constantly doing something and I am.  But one thing for sure is I am enjoying putting all the things together for our craft show coming up in less than two weeks now.  But I am pretty much ahead of what I thought I would be.

So here is my 4th project I have for my show.  This is called Snowman Soup.  In each one is one packet of Hot Chocolate mix, two Hershey Kisses and a Candy Cane.  I use the Top Note Die by stampin' Up to make the snowman faces and the top of the hat.  How cute are these?

Here is what is on the back of the faces!

You can find this poem and many others ready to print out on a page here!  And I actually got my idea for this Snowman Soup from this blog!

And of course one more picture to share!

SU 1/4" round punch
SU Itty Bitty Shapes Punch  Pack (circle punch)

Sketch 286 - Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Happy Monday Morning and hope all ha a wonderful weekend and ready for a brand new week.  I have stayed busy all weekend with a baby shower, church which I love, and getting ready for the craft show coming up November 9th, so not much down time for me.  But I am enjoying my crafting time.  This is the time I like using up all my retired stuff.

Well on to the challenge!  I love the sketch that Mary Jo gave us for this weeks challenge.  Another card that can be clean and simple which is about all I can handle right now.  And the design team has also done a great job with this sketch.  You will have to go to the Techno Stamper's blog and check out all their samples.  So here is my sample for today's sketch.

Isn't this just too cute.  I am loving this new stamp set called Christmas Messages.  Now the paper is called Be of Good Cheer from last year.  So it has retired, but I have so many Christmas papers that I just had to pass this year to get rid of what I have.  I have about accomplished that, I think!  I made the tag by cutting a piece of paper 2" by 4 and then using the Apothecary large framelit to cut the top.

Here is a look at the side!

The inside!

And the envelope and card together.

All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Christmas Messages (Inside and out)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Gumball Green
Designer Series Paper: Be of Good Cheer
Ink: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler
Markers for coloring stamp on front
Apothecary Accents Framelit
Adorning Accents Edgelit
Cherry Cobbler Ribbon - retired

Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope your week is blessed!

Baby Card - Stocking Punch

Hello all and hope your Sunday has started out well.  I thought I would take a few moments before heading out the door to church and post this card I made yesterday morning for a baby shower yesterday.  I am sure glad these photos turned out well as I don't have the card any longer.  I needed something quick and easy and already had the stocking punch out, so it made it a little easier to make a decision.  I also have a drawer full of retired paper and when I looked into it, this just seemed to pop right out.  So that is what I chose.  It is called Nursery Nest.

Here is the inside of the card!

Love this stamp set called God's Blessings and just pulled it out quickly and stamped the inside.  Took about 20 minutes to throw it together.  Isn't that easy.

Items use are all Stampin' Up!
Stamp Sets: Itty Bitty Banners, God's blessings
Card Stock: Whisper White, Marina Mist
Designer Series Paper: Nursery Nest
Ink: Marina Mist
White Baker's Twine
Stocking Punch

Project 3 for Bazaar Craft Show

Good Morning and welcome to another cute little project that I have been working on for the craft fair.  This is a giant candy bar holder made with the "envelope punch board."  I am loving that thing!!!!  and the bow was done using the "Gift Bow Bigz L Die."  It was so easy and I got about 15 done in just a matter of an hour.  And, no I did not create this, but again found this tutorial from Remarkably Created blog.  She had a wonderful video on how to do it.  So if you are one of the lucky ones who have received this envelope punch board check out the video by Janet Wakeland.  Now here is what they look like filled and finished.

Here I took a few of them with the candy bars I put into them.

And here is the back of the holder with the flap up so you see how to put the candy bar in.  You can seal it or you can just place the flap up under the ribbon so they can use it again if needed.  That is what I did with all of the ones I have made.

I will probably sell the whole thing for $3.00 since the candy bar cost me $1.50.  Does that sound reasonable?

Hope you enjoyed the post and hopefully will have another project to share with you later this week.

Project 2 for Bazaar Craft Show

Well here I am again with project # 2.  I have quite a few more started and in the works, but finished 3 of these last night and thought I would go ahead and share them with you.  I am only sharing 2 as that is what I grabbed this morning to take a picture of.  There are times we all need gift card holders and Christmas is definitely one of those times.  So I saw this cute little stocking on Crafty Stampin and just had to make it.  You can click on the name and it will take you to a tutorial on how she made it so there is no need for me to give you directions here.  It is made with the Stocking Die and so easy.  When you are working on projects for a craft show, that is what you need is easy, right?  Anyway here are two of the gift card holder stockings I have made. And, please let me know if $1.50 or $2.00 should be the price.  I am uncertain on this one.

Here is photos of each one individual.

And of course the inside, which I may do a Merry Christmas or something.  According if time permits.

All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Label Love
Card Stock: Cherry Cobbler
Silver Glimmer Paper
Artisan Label Punch
Stocking Die
Snowflake die (From retired set of four small dies, uncertain of name)
Brads, silver twine

So now please stop by Crafty Stampin and thank Linda Cullen for such great directions.  I did veer off a little just to save time, but otherwise wonderful directions.

Project 1 for Bazaar/Craft Show

Good Morning!  This is my first share for some of the things I will be selling at the Craft Show on November 9th.  I am trying to make everything as easy as possible so I can get more things done.  I am working every night in my craft room and my dear husband is being so supportive.  He also knows it is something I enjoy.

I will be selling cards in packs of 6 with the envelopes and here is what the cards will look like.  I made 18 of these so I have 3 packs and the cost will be $10/pack.  I know I always want to know what things go for and so the reason I am adding the price.

Now with this card I did color the packages different and also the sentiment, but I decided to go easier and do them all the same color, which you will see below.

Here is another which I cut the gifts out and popped everything up, which was also time consuming and decided to go with just stamping the image.

And this is what the inside of all of them looks like!  Sorry the photo is a little blurred.

And here they are all packaged and ready to go.  No ribbon or anything as I wanted to keep price as low as possible.

All items are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Wishing You
Card Stock: Real Red, Crumb Cake
Ink: Real Red
Designer Frames Embossing Folder
Sizzix small die (can't remember name) for cut out
Oval scallop punch
ribbon, real red polka dot

Thanks for stopping by and more to come!

LNS Challenge 234 / Sketch 285 - Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Hi everyone and welcome to this weeks challenges for Late Night Stampers and the Monday Lunchtime sketch.  Boy has it been a week for me.  I am working on items for our craft show bazaar at church on November 9th and it has just consumed my at home time.  I have three weeks left to get it all together, so I have not been posting much, but can't wait to share with you some of the items I will have there.  So if I have missed commenting on your post, now you know why.  Now on to my two challenges.

The sketch this week from Mary Jo was a little different, but I have learned to like different and was pleased with the outcome of my card.  And the design team has really done a great job with it, so you will have to stop by her blog and check them all out.  Again, I  combined it with this weeks challenge at Late Night Stampers which is to Fall into "Fall."  I have been a little slack with fall this year and this is only about the second card I have made that works into the fall theme.  So here is my sample for this weeks challenges.

Can you tell I am getting use to the one layer cards.  Easy is the best way when you are as busy as I am, yet want to keep stamping every possible minute you can.

Here is a side view!

And yes I did the inside also!  Now it don't look as clean and simple.

And I even used the envelope die to make a liner for the envelope!

Now how great is that.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to drop by the blogs and see all the other fall cards.

LNS Challenge 233 / Sketch 283 - Monday Lunchtime Sketch

Good Monday Morning and hope you all are ready for this weeks challenges.  I have two items today for you, one for each challenge.  Started to do 2 post and decided it could all go on one post and make it a little easier.  So first of all lets look at Mary Jo's sketch.  I know you are going to love it.

Now here is my sample for the sketch!

I used the washi tape from SU called Gingham Garden.  It just seemed to match perfectly with this paper.  The sentiment was suppose to be stamped directly on the designer paper, but I did not get good enough coverage on the stamp and had to put it on the white.  At least there was a way to cover up the mess and make the card work.  Here is the inside!

Love this stamp set!

And now for our LNS challenge this week.  We are making Halloween treat holders and I could not pass up using the Petite Purse Die and creating this cute pumpkin holder with it.

I got the idea from "PINTEREST."  Love PINTEREST!!!!  And from that created this cute little purse that will hold all kinds of the mini candies.  I put M&M's in this one as you can see here.

By the way it is orange and don't know why my camera could not get it right today, but at least you get the just of what it looks like.

Here is one other view that shows you more of the top of the purse.

I made the stem by cutting a piece of the orange and rolling it.  Sliced some notches in the bottom and then pressed that up to give it a flat bottom that I could glue on the top of the purse.  I also swirled some tiny pieces of soft suede card stock to give it a little more dimension.

So now make sure you drop by Mary Jo's blog and play along plus check out the other DT Samples and play along with us this week at Late Night Stampers.  We have some pretty good samples for treat holders for Halloween.  I know you  are going to love them.

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you have a wonderful and blessed week!
