Uplifting Card
This weeks Stampin Up Only Challenge is to Celebrate Women. Well I was looking at my punches and I saw my old bird punch and decided to use it along with another punch to highlight the sentiment of one of the stamps in The Rose Wonder set. What a beautiful set it is, even though I only used one of them. It is actually one of my favorite stamp sets. I also stamped flowers in black on a white paper for the background using the stamp set Secret Garden and even added color over them by sponging. So without further ado, here it is.

Sketch 364- Monday Lunchtime Sketch
Happy Monday everyone and yes we have another Monday Lunchtime Sketch for you today. The sketch is just fabulous and can be done clean & Simple or you can spoof it up some. I am more of a clean and simple girl myself. So let's look at this weeks sketch.
Don't you just love it? And now for my sample. But, first let me tell you why mine is opposite the sketch. I actually started it and was using the sheet washi tape (love that stuff). Once I got all the washi tape cut and put on the top part of the card, I realized the card was upside down. So I just continued to put it together and then turned it to put the sentiment on. I am just glad that it did not mess up the card. lol
Here is a side view of the card! Shows the dimension.
And then the inside of the card.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to go and check out the rest of the design team samples. You will be glad you did and while you are there link your card up to our link up.
Have a wonderful week everyone!

Sketch 358- Monday Lunchtime Sketch
Well good morning all. It is already time for our Monday Lunchtime Sketch. Seems like just a few days ago I posted the last one and now it is Monday again. Hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. We had some beautiful weather here on Sunday so I am not wanting to go back to work today, but I must, I must!
This weeks sketch was another great one, but hard to decide what to use and I finally decided to use one of my older stamp sets since I am looking forward to some spring weather. But first here is this weeks sketch.
Now here is my card for this weeks sketch.
Yes, I used the Secret Garden Stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up! They are retired now, but I still love this stamp set.
On the inside I used some more of the flowers and also used one of my stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs. Love to add a scripture every now and then.
Now it is your turn to do something with this sketch. And, don't forget to check out the rest of the design team samples. They are all just wonderful.

Sketch 327- Monday Lunchtime Sketch
Good Monday Morning to all my friends out there. Today I am using my new blendabilities with you. Have not got it down pat as this is really my first time using them, but I am sure I will get it before long. Even the card I am sharing with you today is not perfect, I love it. Mary Joe has another fabulous Monday Lunchtime sketch for you today. Now just to let you know, you do not need to use Stampin' Up! products even though she would love for you to, so please join us for this wonderful sketch today. Now here is my sample for this weeks challenge.
So what do you think? I know I need a little more practice with the coloring, but I do love it anyway. Here is a close up which shows you the blending though.
As I said, definitely not perfect, but when you are not looking for the flaws, it is beautiful to me.
Hope you will join us for our Monday Lunchtime sketch and don't forget to link up. You may be part of our top 3. Enjoy your week everyone.

Making my own designer paper
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I want to share a another sample I did for this two week challenge at Late Night Stampers. I will be linking this one, but please check out what the other stampers did. I actually took the inspiration photo and chose some of my favorite colors in it and created the top layer of the card. In other words, I created my own designer paper. Don't you just love to do that. I also found this wonderful and cute corner punch at 80% off and decided to use it on this card, inside and out.
Here is a side view of the card!
You can see the inside a little here.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other entries at Late Night Stampers Blog.

LNS Challenge 245/Sketch 307- Monday Lunchtime Sketch
Happy Monday and hope you are all having a good start to your day. I am actually posting this on Sunday evening and went to Medac in the afternoon and have a sinus and ear infection. So hope my day is starting better than my Sunday.
I am combining my challenges again today. Our LNS Challenge is "Spring has Sprung," which means just show us something spring related in whatever you create. Well I decided to go spring with flowers and used Monday's Lunchtime Sketch to do this. So here is my sample for both challenges.
And of course I did the inside also.

LNS Challenge 238/Sketch 293- Monday Lunchtime Sketch
Well I am back! So sorry for the long pause, but my brother was put back into ICU and so I was kind of tied up for a little while. But again God has stepped in and performed a miracle and I am so thankful. He is still very weak, but doing better. Thanks again for the prayers that I know are going up for him.
OK, so I have not posted in two week and now our challenge for this week at LNS is to go simple, but not too simple. Do at least three layers, add a few embellishments and that is exactly what I did. And, yes I did lover Mary Jo's sketch this week. So you must join both of these wonderful challenges this week. I think you will be glad you did. So here is my sample.
I am not happy with my coloring, but I just did not have the time to redo it. So this is just the way it is going to stay. I am probably more brutal with my own creations than others are, but it is what it is. I do love the layout of the card and how the flowers are positioned, just do not like how I colored the flowers. And yes I did do the inside and so glad I did.
So don't forget to check out these two fabulous challenges and see what the rest of the design team came up with.

Clean and Simple #257
As you all know I am on this Clean & Simple kick and when I saw this weeks clean & simple sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to do and what items I would be using. Well I did change from a butterfly to a flower, but that is about it. I have been using so many butterflies lately that I felt I needed to check out my other supplies and of course I went back to my framelits which are so easy. So here is my card for this weeks CAS challenge.
I used one of the Stampin' Up! spritz bottles to add ink and water and spritzed the side of the paper with it and then continued to decorate. I love the outcome.
Here is a side view and the envelope.
And the inside,

Well guess what I did this afternoon when I got home from work? Yes, I played with my stamps and it was so much fun! I actually saw the sketch earlier today and knew when I got home I was going to break out my stamps and framelits and get to work. And that is exactly what I did!
The sketch I used was from the Clean&Simple sketch blog and then I saw these great colors on the CAS - Colours and Sketches Blog so I knew I had to use them. So now this is what these two challenges helped to create!
Love these flowers and butterflies and now a side view!

LNS Challenge 222/TSSC262 Monday Lunch Time Sketch
Good Monday morning dear friends and hope your weekend was wonderful. Time passes so fast and when you stay busy as I have these past few weekends it passes even faster, so Monday is just to soon for me. But on to our challenges this week. Yes, once again I combined the Late Night Stampers Challenge with the Monday Lunch Time Sketch at Techno Stamper's blog. Our Late Night Stampers challenge is to use "Your Favorite Retiring Colors" from SU! I love so many of them, but I must say I will miss Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and Regal Rose. So those are the colors I chose to use on this card. And, I am so happy with the outcome.
For the flower, I actually stamped my stamp with versarmark and then stamped it in Regal Rose then onto the Pretty in Pink Card stock. I embossed it with clear embossing powder to help it stand out better and to put the two colors together. Then using the Secret Garden Framelits, I cut the flower out. So very easy. Of course the leaf is part of the framelits also. I did the embossing for the Happy Birthday the same way, by stamping in the versarmark and then the Baja Breeze ink using the clear embossing powder to highlight the sentiment. The designer papers are from an old 6X6 paper pack that was a hostess gift years ago and was the only thing I could find in the regal rose. But it worked beautifully. I used the front and the back of the designer paper. Added a few of the butterflies using the Beautiful Wings embosslit folder and the Baja Breeze card stock.
Here is a side view of the card!
And the inside of this card!

LNS Challenge 216/TSSC256 Monday Lunch Time Sketch
Wow, what a week I have had. I think each day seems to get busier. But maybe that just comes with getting older each day. But I did have a chance to get my samples done and posted for this weeks challenges. Whatever possessed me to take on two Monday Morning challenges? lol Again I combined these two, but I also had to make two projects. Why, because this weeks LNS challenge was to do a 3-d item. So what I decided to do was to make a box for some cards I had been making to go into a basket for a raffle. Now how great is that. So this challenge actually helped me to catch up on some things I was going to have to do anyway. And, you know the TSSC Monday Lunch Time Sketch is a "Sketch." So the reason for doing two projects this week. So without further ado, onto my project! The first photo is with both of the projects together, the card and the box which will hold quite a few cards.
So you see I will be using this card as one of the cards for the box. And, the card comes from the sketch that Mary Jo has for us this week on her blog. Such a clean and simple sketch. You really need to stop by and see all the great samples the DT Team has designed. They are really beautiful.
So here is the card by itself and with better lighting I think!
Here is a side view of the card.
Now on to the box where I took the photo from the front!
Now from the side to show the depth of it.
And the back to show the closure of it.
Now how great is that. I saw a tutorial that Tanya Bell had done for this box and fell in love with it and had to try it out. You can find her post and video here! Please check it out, you will love it as it is a one sheet card box and we both used the back card board sheet that comes with the Designer Series Paper. So you can say this is recycling also. Yea!!!! And don't you just love how it closes in the back. Looks kind of like an envelope.

LNS Challenge / TSSC253 Monday Lunch Time Sketch
Good Monday Morning everyone and welcome to this weeks Monday Lunch Tim Sketch and Late Night Stamper's Challenge. This week I combined both into one card as it has been one of those weeks. I do believe I have a sinus infection, but have been to busy to get to the Dr. I have not felt like doing much, and yet life seems to keep me still busy. But, I did get up early this morning to put this card together. It was pretty quick and easy and I even did some embossing on the flower and the sentiment. Love to emboss and it is really not that hard. Don't know why I don't do more of it.
Here is a side view of the card!
With this you can see how I popped up the flower.
Now a close up of the flower and the sentiment.

Late Night Stamper's Challenge / Color Challenge
This week at Late Night Stampers blog our challenge is to use the colors Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, and Lucky Limeade. I just realized that I love these colors together. So pretty! And as I was trying to decide how to put my card together, I found the sketch at Clean and Simple, decided to make it a Birthday Card from Sunny Challenges and then last but not least I used my new stuff for the SUO Challenge. Thanks to each one of them for making this a card I love. And here it is!
I actually embossed the folower and the green leaf with clear embossing powder just to give it a little dimension. And at some point I got a little glitter into my embossing powder, so there is a little shimmer through it. Mistakes usually make for a nice addition at times! Now for the side view!
And the inside! Can't imagine not doing the inside of a card! And the envelope!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a blessed Monday!
