Using Designer Paper as the Focus!

Happy Monday all! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and your week has started out wonderful.  I thought I would share this card where all the stamping I did was the Sentiment at the top. I just love it when designer paper is pretty enough to make a card pretty.  But let me let you in on a secret, make sure you turn the paper correctly before putting it on the base of your card. LOL  Actually I did not notice it until I saw the photo.  I am still going to give this to someone for Christmas and hopefully they will not notice it is upside down!

This card was inspired by this weeks sketch over at Unscripted Sketches.  I was looking for different smaller images to use and when I saw this designer paper, I thought that will work all on its own.

Here is a side view of the card!

And, the inside of the card!

Did better on the inside as the owls are all turned correctly and not upside down!

All items used are Stampin' Up!
Stamp Set: Four Seasons, Holy Family (inside - retired)
Card Stock: Whisper white, Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple
Designer Series Paper: Snow Festival
Ink: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals
Ribbon: 3/8" Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon

Thanks so much for looking and hope you have a wonderful day!

LOL...That's so funny, Jonia! It sounds like something I would do! Actually, I did do it! I've got a card posted on my blog with the designer paper upside down...nobody ever noticed...not even the person who received the card. I didn't notice until much later when I was doing some work with some photos...I couldn't believe it! haha Those owls are ADORABLE!! The'd actually be really cute on their heads!
It's a beautiful card, my friend! :o)

Ha!! I've done that before, too. I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it though. Your card is a delight! Love it, inside and out! God bless!
