Well Patter has finally finished her move and has given us our 10th challenge of the Hymn and Scripture challenge and I am so glad to see her back. As you can see the Hymn for today is When We all Get to Heaven! Wow, "what a day of rejoicing that will be!" And that is part of the song.
As I was looking for a verse to use with this yesterday, I was having a little struggle within me and I was doing a lot of praying. And when I saw the 1st verse that I put on this sheet, it just reminded me that I cannot give up, yes there will be struggles, but the end result will be worth it all.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.Galatians 6:9
You see as the song says we will see Jesus one day and if we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior, we will rejoice, we will reap the victory. Praise God! All the struggles will be well worth the end result.
For my second verse I chose Psalm 9: 1-2 which reminds me daily to give praise to our Lord and one day when we see Him we will Praise Him forever more.
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
Psalm 9:1-2
I am looking forward to that day with Jesus, just to look upon His face, the one who died so that I could have freedom to know Him, to be a child of the KING!
Here is Brad Paisley singing "When We All Get To Heaven", and I hope you enjoy it.
Please stop over at Patter's blog to see what she had to say about this wonderful Hymn. Her devotions are always wonderful.
Thanks for stopping by today and please let me know what you think!
