July Workshop

Hello everyone!  Well tonight is my normal scheduled workshop for my club that gets together on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  And following are the projects we will be doing tonight.  We are using new stuff out of the new catalog which is always so much fun.  Our first project is a scrapbook page!

With this page, I used items out of the summer mini and out of the new catalog.  I am really loving this Pennant builder punch.  What do you think of it?  And this paper is wonderful!  Here are the items I used to make this page!  And, all items are Stampin' Up!

Stamps/Kit: Alphabet (retired) Sunny Fun, Notes and Details
Card Stock: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red
Designer Paper: Big Top Birthday
Ink: Real Red, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: Markers, Red & White Baker's Twine, Cupcake Builder Punch, Petite Pennants Builder Punch, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Now for our second project, we will be doing the embedded embossing technique and making this cute but simple card!

Is this not just too cute!  I actually punched out the flowers from the paisley petals designer series paper with the Fancy Flower Punch.  I also used a new punch for the border which is called Lace Ribbon Border punch.  Is that not just too cute!  I certainly am enjoying my new stuff and hope my club members have fun tonight.  Here is the items list for this card and all items are Stampin' Up!

Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White, Always Artichoke
Designer Series Paper: Paisley Petals
Classic Ink: Bravo Burgundy
Embellishments:  3/4" round punch, Fancy Flower Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Thanks so much for looking and hope you have a wonderful rest of the day!

Lovely card and fantastic scrapbook layout - but the caption "Don't everyone look so happy" - is that meant to be a joke? They all look rather bored, not a smile in the lot. Doubtless it was a smashing day, the photos surely don't do it justice.
