Fun On Friday - Birds and Flowers

Well it is time for our weekly Fun On Friday Challenge over at Christian Paper Crafts!  This week Robyn is hosting the challenge and here is what she had to say!

Luke 12:24 "Consider the ravens; they do not sow or reap, They have no storehouse or barn, yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable are you than they?"

Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?"

When I think of a raven, it is not a pretty sight that comes to mind. However, the 'raven haired' maiden congers up more pleasant pictures. Now I ask you, do you believe you are more valuable than a bird? But of course you are! Worry is a tool of the enemy. Look at the flowers all around you. This time of year, here in central Ohio, it is a delight to the eyes to see the color and natural beauty covering the lands. God's handiwork!

For this challenge, search your heart for a memory of someone that encouraged you in a time when you needed it! Perhaps helping you over a 'worrisome' stumbling block, or offering support through a struggle. As you create your project for this challenge, offer a word of thanksgiving for the beauty in your life, and those that have encouraged you to be all you can be in Him that cares for you! Add a bird or winged creature, Flowers or simply a new color, as a reminder of the importance of who you are.

So here is my sample I created for this weeks Fun On Friday Challenge!

I decided to go with the flowers and the birds!  This is actually another sneak peak or now you can actually see them as today is the first day of the new SU Stampin' Up! Catalog.  This is one of the Hostess Gift stamps, Posey Punch, and I am already knowing that I love this stamp set.  It is always good to have a stamp that you can also punch out by using the Fancy Flower Punch. Oh yeah, all made easy for you!
