What a beautiful hymn this is and the words are just what you need when you feel as though you are at the end of your rope. Funny thing is like Patter, I have never heard this song before, but it is definitely beautiful.
JESUS NEVER FAILS! How many testimonies I could share with you of how faithful He has been to me. In time of distress He was there and brought me through. When I could not eat because of hurt and anguish on what to do, He was there. And, on and on and on, which is why I chose the verse. It just means so much to me.
Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6
You see, I can stand strong and courageous and not be afraid for I know that God goes before me and with me and He is my rock and my shield. He has never left me nor forsaken me. What a blessing that is to me.
Now here is another history lesson on the song and at the beginning of the video he sings the song. It gives you an idea of the melody of this hymn, but there is no music!
Now on to my page! Since there was no sheet music I could find for this page, I used a free download from "Free Vintage Digital Stamps" blog. I searched for music sheets and that came up. As soon as I saw it, I knew I would use it for the background of my page. I also used the sketch over at MDS Monday Challenge and I love how it turned out. So here it is!

You've created a beautiful page, Jonia! Isn't that the most wonderful Scripture verse? God is so good! :o)
Pamela, over at Free Vintage Digitals, has quite a few things that work really well for the Hymn challenges. I've used a number of them! Thanks so much for this lovely post, my friend! :o

A wonderful page, Jonia. I like how you tweaked the sketch and created the rectangle for your scripture verse. Love the music in the background too. Thanks for playing along with us at MDS Monday.
