I am doing the Scripture challenge from Triple the Scraps. Perfect was week # 7. We are none perfect, not one of us! It would be nice to be perfect, never making a mistake. But do you know that with God, he makes our way perfect. Each and every day if we follow the example of Jesus Christ we are being perfected, not by our own means, but through His shed blood on the cross. Without that, we would not have salvation as we know it today. He was our sacrifice for sin and without Him, boy do our imperfections show. As Patter said on her blog "We cannot perfect ourselves; only God can work in and through us to ‘carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus’ (Philippians 1:6).”
And week # 6 was Neighbor. We should love our Neighbor as ourselves. How many times to we get upset with our Neighbor over the smallest thing. Maybe they don't keep their yard like we would like for them to or their dog barks too much. God tell us to love our Neighbor and He is not talking about our next door Neighbor either. He is talking about the person that we don't even know. How much a better place would this world be if we all love our Neighbors as ourselves. There would be no crime, no stealing, no adultery, because true love does not do those things. Think about it the next time someone does something you may not like. Love your Neighbor as yourself and as Leviticus 19:8 says, "do not seek revenge or bear a grudge." Thanks for looking and if you would like to join in on this challenge, please go to Patter's blog here.

Oooh, I just love the soft colors on both of your pages. These are beautiful. And wonderful scripture choices too. Beautiful pages. I also wanted to thank you for your sweet words on my blog. Your words are a blessing to me. Have a blessed day!
These are so pretty. I like the neighbor one especially - the little bird and the houses.. it looks good.
Love both of these! Your use of embellishments is so creative, and, of course, the verses you chose and your journaling are right-on!
Beautiful pages and you are an encouragement for me to get caught up! Great colors and embellishments and your verses are so apt!
